APPLICATION
The 2-40B tabletop large capacity centrifuges feature metacrilate lids, low noise and minimal vibration. The 2-40A comes with two different rotors with a capacity of 4 x 100ml tubes and 20 x 10ml tubes respectively, and two optional rotors with a capacity of 8 x 50ml tubes and 16 x 15ml tubes respectively. The 2-40B comes with three different rotors.

The 2-12A micro haematocrit centrifuges feature adjustable speed, safety blue transparent metacrilate lids, microhaematocrit scanners, keys to extract the haematocrit rotor and electrical brakes to stop the centrifuge without disturbing the obtained sedimentation. They fit 24 capillary tubes.

ROTOR
The MiniStar comes with two rotors: one for microtubes and one for 0.2ml PCR strip tubes. Both rotors are designed for applications requiring relatively low g-forces, such as micro-filtration, cell separation and quick spin-downs of tube walls. The 6x1.5/2.0ml rotor is designed to centrifuge up to six individual 1.5/2.0ml plastic micro centrifuge tubes. Using the adaptors supplied with the unit, it can also accommodate 0.5ml and 0.2ml tubes. The strip tube rotor is designed to centrifuge 2x8 well 0.2ml strip tubes. It can also accommodate up to 16 individual 0.2ml tubes. These rotors are interchangeable and are easily exchanged by hand.
